Hello, lovely to meet you here!
It's been a while since my last post, but rest assured, I haven't stopped creating art. I find it deeply relaxing and meditative, so I make sure to spend time at my art desk almost every day.
Over the past nine months, I've attended an Art School in Richmond to explore the world of Abstract Art. It's been an incredible journey, filled with inspiration from various Artists Dates and the opportunity to admire amazing works of art in person. I discovered that female artists have significantly shaped the abstract art movement. Their contributions have driven and influenced the world of abstract art, and it's truly inspiring to see their impact.
During breaks between terms, I decided to refresh my website and move away from the WordPress site I've been using since 2015. This change sparked new ideas and fresh inspiration for the future. Additionally, revisiting my old blog posts revealed forgotten moments, acting as breadcrumbs of my journey to keep me moving forward.
At the moment, my Etsy shop has limited stock as I was contemplating focusing solely on creating Abstract Art for hanging on walls. However, I still have the desire to create at least one more deck that combines Nature, textiles, and Abstract Art (Wild Tarot Tangles). The daily messages I receive about reprinting my decks keep me motivated and grateful for your encouragement! So, I have decided to reprint The Textured Tarot and it will be available in my shop soon.
The new website now integrates both streams of art I love - card decks and abstract art. It's a work in progress, but I hope it will inspire me to share more of my journey. Social media's ever-changing landscape presents challenges in getting noticed, but I'm optimistic that the health concerns I faced in the past five years are behind me. This means I'll have more energy to devote to the art I love.
Consider this blog post a declaration to myself and all of you that I'm ready to move forward with my art again and share more of my activities and musings.
For now, I'll say goodbye, but I look forward to sharing more soon. If you're interested in occasional updates from me, feel free to sign up for my newsletter below. Thank you for being a part of this wonderful journey!
Congratulations on your new website! It is good to see you back and I will look out for more information on a new deck😍 . Marty
